#1 Home Remedies to Cure Moles
HORSE TAIL HAIR FOR MOLES
10/20/2007: ANDREA  from NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA writes: "My husband had a mole in the center of his forehead. It bothered him that he looked like a unicorn. So I remembered when I was a little girl that I used to hear my Grandma speak of different remedies, for different ailments. The one that I never really believed was the one about the horse hair to remove a mole. So one day my husband and I was out and about and seen a man on a horse. I asked him could I have a piece of his horse's tail hair. He knew immediately what I wanted with it. My husband said he wouldn't believe it until he seen it. So once we arrived home I tied the hair around the mole. Every morning after, I would awake before he would to see the results. 3 days later I noticed the mole and the hair was gone! I told my husband to pay extra attention to his face when he went to wash up. When he realized the mole was gone he was so excited."

The DermaTend mole remover worked - In just two days - I was totally amazed. I feel GOOD LOOKING AGAIN. Thanks so much, Jorge Garcia

8/11/2007: Annie from New York, USA writes: "I applied ACV to my mole for a couple of days. It shrink in size and seem to be working . Today I noticed that its scabbed and picked at it. On impulse I peeled it, revealing a dark spot underneath that looks it was going to turn into a mole or that this method didn't remove my mole successfully. I was very disappointed. =("
5/27/2007: Tyler (Tyler31093[at]yahoo.com) from Springfield, USA writes: "Apple Cider Vinegar (remedy): This thing did NOT work. I used it on a mole and it came off... yea... and it CAME BACK!!! The only thing worse than having a mole is removing it, having everyone say things like, "remember that ugly mole," and than have it COME BACK!!! I need this thing gone!!! I'm young still, so I'm not open to many resources. When I found this stuff in the cabinet I was jumping for joy. I applied it like crazy, peeled of the mole, and it CAME BACK. Well, I have to be fair, it's not exactly "Back" yet, but it left a same-size dark red mark that looks like its turning back into the mole. Please guys, this really means a lot to me. Other than this mole, I look really good. I LOVED my few weeks without it. All the girls were hitting on me and more people were hanging out with me. And now this? Come on seriously... please someone E-mail me with the solution to my problems... Sincerely, unlucky"

9/16/2007: Lotta from New York, New York writes: "I had a raised mole and one on my tummy that just did not look healthy. I have not been a big fan of doctors,(sorry all you doctors out there you are good to have around if one needs) but did not feel I needed one for this and what I have heard did not sound to appealing. Thought it got to be a better way. And then a came across this website just down my ally. So I read about the ACV could remove moles so I tried it. Took a little bit of cotton soaked it ACV and put a band aid over the moles. Did this twice a day, and within a week I would say it dried up turned black and fell off under was new pink skin. AMAZING! What else can you say!"
4/9/2007: Chris from Greenville, SC writes: "I have been on the ACV diet for a month and a half.i have lost some weight. I also have had warts on both hands for about 3 years, and a mole on my arm. Both have totally disappeared!"
3/21/2007: Anne from Manassas, VA writes: "Apple cider vinegar cured my diarrhea caused by milk and other foods. I switched to Lactose Free Milk while taking ACV and eventually the diarrhea was gone. I continued to take ACV 3x/day (2 tsp in 8 oz of water before each meal) for 2 months when I decided to see if drinking regular skim milk (as I used to) would cause the diarrhea again. To my surprise, I no longer get diarrhea to any foods, not even to milk. So thank you God for ACV. Another good effect I had as a result of taking ACV is the disappearance of a couple of moles."
(Apple Cider Vinegar & Garlic, Alternating) 3/10/2007: Emily from Saylorsburg, PA writes: "I'm new to this whole home remedy thing and was overjoyed when I immediately got results. I'm 13 years old with fair skin and am suffering from a small mole on my face. My family doesnt have all the money in the world and when the dermetologist said I would have to have plastic surgery to get it removed (and the price was a good $500-$600 bucks) I thought my mole would be with me forver. I've been on the Apple Cider Vinegar/Garlic (I alternate) for only a day but immediately I've noticed a difference. For one, the color (light brown) of the mole has nearly disappeared and the vinegar seems to be eating away at it. I was so exciting, if that happens in only a day what'll happen in a week? <3 I feel like theres finally hope to get this awful thing off my face. But if you're going to try this remedy be sure not to get it on any skin surrounding it or it will be red and swell. Other than that this has worked great! Thanks so much and for all you reading this. goodluck! -Emi!"
3/3/2007: Sally from Sydney, Australia writes, "hi, I just bought some 'double strength 8 % acidity' ACV ( organic, with the mother) Is the double strength ok to drink? Do you only use half the amount you usually would? Do you add double the baking soda or double the water? Also, would all unpasturized organic acv have the mother, or should you look for the ones that say 'contains the mother'? would it be ok to use non organic acv as general toner on face and body? as I can't afford to do this with the organic stuff. Also : feedback- mole cure I used 'normal strength' acv for about 4 days on a mole, the mole turned into a scab and I forcably (gently) peeled it off The mole is gone, but (a small) scab formed where it was-I only did it less than a week ago, It is healing well, but looks like it may scar alittle, would letting the mole fall of by itself mabey stop it from scarring, or if you didnt peel it off would it re-attatch itself?
p.s. I got a bit of a rash from the band aid- switched to medical tape ( on a role) which is much better for my sensitive skin-I also stuck it to the back of my hand first-to absorb some of the glue. This is my favorite site online thanx -sorry for rambling on & on "
2/1/2007: Amy from Richmond, VA writes, "I have very fair skin and have been plagued with moles most of my life. I have them all over my face and the rest of my body. The cost for getting them surgically removed is ridiculous and I decided to search the internet for 'home cures.' I tried ACV on a mole on my side and after about 4 days, it scabbed over and fell off. The only bad thing is that the ACV dripped off of the cotton ball and onto healthy skin, causing a reaction. I've started using the small, round band-aids and they are easier for spot treatment. All that is left of the mole on my side is a pink circle that will probably go away soon. I'm treating 5 more now. The 2 on my chest fell off after 3 days and I'm now trying one on my face (yikes!). I can't wait for them all to heal! Thanks!"
12/30/2006: David from Albemarle, NC writes, "My mom told me about it, I tried it on warts and skin tags, put it on a piece of cotton ball and soak it with ACV and put a band aid on it over night, refresh it in the morning and it will turn it dark. Give it a couple of days and it will disapear. Believe it or not."
3/8/2006: Bernie from Middleville Michigan writes, "I had a good size mole in the middle of my back, I would soak a piece of gauze in the ACV and put it directly on the mole, would cover it up with duct tape. Took about 2 weeks and the wart is gone, turned green and I peeled it off."
4/13/2006: Gabe from Vancouver writes, "I tried this remedy and it really worked. I soaked some cotton in it and placed it on my mole fixed with a band-aid. I changed the cotton twice a day and in three days the mole simply peeled off like a scab. I was very surprised that it work, because I’ve tried several other remedies and non have worked for me but this one. I am very pleased with the results and am confident that it will work for you to. Give it a shot."

BANANA PEELS

9/2/2007: john from selma, calif writes: "my mother once told me to warm up some bannas peels on some moles  that were blocking my vision,so I did and soon forgot the about it, until one day some family member ask me, hey what happen to that mole that was blocking my vision, so I looked at our mirror and notice them gone!"

TED'S MOLE THEORY

10/06/2007: Bob writes: "Ted, I am intrigued by your theory that moles are fungi protected by melanin. It makes sense that they grow and shrink and puff out!  I recently burned one off in less than a day of using garlic clove mixed with ACV.  I also used black walnut tincture for 5 days prior with no noticeable results. After less than a day I pulled the round bandaid off and it was blistered so I stopped doing anything. I poked it with a pin and realized it wasn’t attached. I squeezed pus out for a day and then it dried up and rubbed off quite easily in four days, and the remaining scab five days later.  I had some success with castor oil and baking soda on different moles but they came back.  I think it’s different for everyone and every mole because possibly every mole is a different fungus protected by melanin so it makes sense that they can’t be destroyed all the same way!  Also, I am very lethargic and have swollen lymph nodes and tonsil cruddies as well as over 350 moles all over my body so it makes sense that I’m full of viruses or funguses!!!  Any good foods to eat? Goji? Garlic? Onion? Potassium rich foods? I heard that warts and moles can be a sign of potassium deficiency, but some people think moles are just the hangy dark ones so I’m not sure if they meant flat ones as well.  Have you heard anything on this? Once again I’m very intrigued by your ideas please update me on any helpful information."

GARLIC AND SEA SALT

8/30/2007: Lady L from Arlington, Texas writes: "I'm so glad i came across this forum. I had a mole the size of about 1/8th of an inch in diameter. I cut a similar size slice of garlic, rubbed vaseline lightly around the mole, placed the garlic on the mole and covered with band aid. i alternated the second night with sea salt instead of the garlic coz sea salt has iodine (to minimize burning as some people had warned about). on the 3rd night, while cleaning it with a cotton ball dipped in warm water, the mole fell right out. left a tiny weenie hole that looked like someone had scooped it out with a micro spoon. i didnt apply anything else on it except for vitamin E from a caplet the next 2 days or so. The skin has since patched itself up and save for a tiny scab, it is healing well. I expect the scab to fall off in a day or two. Thanks to all who posted their experiences coz it saved me several hundred dollars for surgery when all it took was a bit of nature. I hope this helps someone."

ACV, GARLIC AND IODINE

8/7/2007: Jessica from Kansas City, MO writes: "After reading the mole remedies on this site, I decided to seperately test the Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic and Iodine on three different moles. These are my results:
ACV--It completely removed one mole in 5 days. After "scratching" the mole with a clean needle, I soaked a small piece of cotton in ACV and placed it on the mole with a bandaid on it overnight (did this for 5 nights). During the day, I dabbed ACV on it a few times. During this time period, the once raised mole (the size of a pea) became flat, then black, then peeled off like a scab. The only problem was that I did not protect the skin around the mole with vaseline, because I couldn't get the bandaid to stick to my skin if I used it. Because of this, the skin around the mole became quite burned. It looks pretty bad! I'm trying to heal it up with Coconut Oil. But, personally I'd rather have a little burned skin than a nasty mole!
Garlic--the garlic worked pretty fast on another pea-sized mole, but again, I burned myself by not protecting the surrounding skin. And I really disliked smelling like garlic all day! The garlic worked in two days. The mole puffed up and blistered and then came off like a scab. Beware--this stuff really burns, so watch out for the healthy skin!
Iodine--I had a slightly-raised mole that basically flaked off after 7 days of using iodine on it 3 times per day. It takes a little longer to work than garlic or ACV, but NO burning!
With each of these remedies, I scratched the mole with a needle before applying the stuff. I think that helps to really get the substance in the mole in order to breat it down. Also, where the moles have fallen off I have scars. One of the rather large moles made a keloid-type (red, raised) scar. I'm applying Coconut Oil to all of these hoping to speed along the process. Finally, I tried these remedies on moles on my body--not my face. I can't recommend doing that, unless you understand you will have a noticable scar."

GARLIC
17 Yea   3 Nay   1 Maybe
10/18/2007: paul from haywards heath, uk writes: "re: garlic for superficial skin tumors -- I applied a slither of fresh garlic on a skin lesion abnormal but small skin growth under left eye for one week, appling for a duration of 5 mins untill it stung and was a little red...the lesion shrunk and has disapeared. senior operating department practitioner nhs.uk"
7/4/2007: Barbara from Hagatna, Guam writes: "I was skeptical in trying the methods, but I took a chance and used the garlic remedy. I only applied it for a couple of hours and took it off. I burned the moles that I have and it also gave me a scar on my face. But it removed the moles on my shoulder and also on my forehead. I still have a mole on my face but it seems to be shrinking and I'm content with it. If anyone tends to try the garlic on their face, please make sure you apply it on the mole and not have the garlic touch your face. Thanks for the remedy, Im satisfied with the results. Barbara - Guam"
5/26/2007: Dave from Ottawa, Canada writes: "I have had flat moles on my upper body all of my life. I've had some removed by doctors and always was left with scaring. I decided to try my luck with garlic on two moles. I cut two thin slices the shape of the moles and taped them on top of the moles using midical tape. I changes the garlic twice a day for three days. On the third day the moles puffed up like a blister. It's worked, and now I'm doing the rest! Who knew something as cheap as garlic would be a cure."
4/6/2007: Phil from Toronto, Ontario writes: "Ok well i resently got my hair cut for a hockey tournament, in the form of a mohawk, just for laughs. Afterwards i discovered a large mole on the back of my head, about a 1/4 of an inch in diameter. This mole was in plain site and because i attend high school i felt it necessarie to remove it as soon as possible if possible. I used the garlic remedy, taped small amount of garlic to the mole on my head. after two days of sleeping with it and keeping it on during the day i eventualy lost hope and thought maybe since this mole was there since i was a baby it could not be cured. so on the third day i stoped taping the garlic then after my shower i realised it had just fallen off. WOW like i mean wow this realy does work!!!!!!!!! Be careful cause the garlic left quite a burn on my head."
2/28/2007: Pam from Santa Barbara, CA writes, "I have many small moles on my torso so I thought I would give some remedies a try. The one I put garlic on was about 3/8 inch big and slightly raised. I squeezed the garlic and put it on a bandaid. It tingled all day so I figured it was working. That evening when I took off the bandaid I saw a burn that was about 3/4 inch round, very sore and inflamed. So I guess the warnings were right. I suspect that my garlic was fresher and stronger than some others. The mole I am trying the iodine cure on is still getting iodine on a bandaid twice a day - nothing different after 4 days. The little cluster of moles I am using coconut oil on are unchanged after 4 days. I'll keep you posted. But anyone who is trying the garlic cure should use some unpetroleum jelly to surround the mole and prevent burning. Good luck, Pam"
1/26/2007: Trisha from Singapore writes, "My mom had a 1 inch diameter mushroom like mole that would fester. she had it for over 30 years..at the side of her breast. when she was in her 70s she heard about garlic and started taking it to lower her high blood pressure, she would take 2-3 cloves every night ( chopped finely and tucked into her mouth like a pill, & swallowed it down with a glass of sweet drink.. ) after 6 months she realized that the mole started to dry up -no more festering- and after a year it started shrinking and simply flaked off bit by bit..after 2 years it completely dissapeared, todate it is only a dot left. completely cured what could have been cancerous ? she continues to take 3 cloves of garlic daily, to keep her blood pressure down, she is 84 years old, lives alone in a flat in Malaysia. she is very lucid and keeps abreast of CNN's daily news cast. due to garlic ? all reasons point in that direction..."

1/9/2007: Debbie from Georgia writes, "garlic - 1 clove a day for 2 weeks - have just switched to garlic tablets - one equate odorless per day. Hope these work as well as the real thing.  My husband has been taking one clove of garlic a day for 2 weeks for bloodpressure. One side effect that we did not expect was his skin improvement. He had around 10 flat dark color moles on his back and one wart on his lower chest that he has had for many years. Two days ago I was scratching his back and noticed that the moles were flaking off. I began to brush them off and there appears to be healthy skin was underneath. His skin also appears pinker and healthier. He noticed that the mole on his lower chest is also gone. I have never heard of this side effect of garlic and I am amazed at the change in his skin. I just hope it is improving the inside as much as it has the outside."
Linda, from Scarborough, NY writes, "Moles. I had several moles that I wanted gone. I taped a small piece of garlic over the mole, scraping the flat side of the garlic that touches the mole so the juice can get onto it. I slept with this garlic remedy and kept it on during the day. Within two to three days, the mole, in each case, disappeared completely, leaving only a small indentation where the mole once was. The skin is now pink and healthy. (If something looks really suspicious, however, do go see a doctor. You might try this first and see if it works.) "
12/29/2006: Kyle from Watford writes, "Garlic made my skin mole smaller but red marks came up under it."
12/27/2006: Charlene from Australia writes, "Thanks for the great suggestion. And after a more research from the Heathboard.com forum, I decided to take the plunge. It worked in 8 days. Scabbed in 4 and dropped off in 4. I am so grateful to this website. I am also a believer of home remedies and believe that science still has a lot of catching up to millions of years of experience."

10/18/2006: Mac from Sydney writes, "Garlic stuck on with tape cured moles that i hated.  Thanku all for helping us, but for the people who it didn't work for -- U DID IT WRONG!"

T.S. from United Kingdom confirms, "Not being confident about wearing a swimsuit because of a number of moles on my back I am so happy that I stumbled across this quick and effective remedy to curing moles. It works. I was a bit sceptical but after treating a mole on my back and finding out for myself that it does work I will be tackling the others too. Next summer I will be able to wear a swimsuit with confidence."
James from Belfast, Ireland reports that garlic cured, "A mole on my left cheek. It stings so I knew it was going to work, after the garlic dried a bit I cut it up and crushed it, I thought to add some vinegar to it which worked perfectly because it is an acid it works with the iodine to beat the mole! Make sure to crush it and put a bit of vinegar in, get a bit of kitchen role and scrunch it up, soak up the vinegar and make sure you get some garlic, the garlic sticks to the mole and works even better. USE IT IT WORKS."
4/9/2006: Ahmad from Sidney writes, "hey i tried the garlic remedy i put it on the mole and it started stinging. i slept with it an i realized it was smaller."
4/21/2006: Susan from Lubbock, TX writes, "I am in the process of removing a mole on my arm. I know it is working because it stings. It actually blistered up and broke. Now the skin in drying up. I am sure it will remove this lifetime ugly mole. Yeh!"
5/25/2005: James writes, "I have been using the garlic cure for about 3 days and though it seems to have shrunk, there is also a small yellow lump appearing just beneath it were garlic has also been touching the skin. I don't know if this ok or should i stop."
12/25/2006: Anonymous writes, "I had a small mole on my arm that the doctor wanted to cut off, it was turning a strange shape and was red in parts. I was booked for getting it cut off, but in the meantime had found that taping a slice of garlic to it can help. I taped it on and refreshed it a few times a day, within a few days the actual mole had lifted out and there was a hole there where the problem part of the mole was!) i showed the doctor and he was surprised but there was no need to remove it."

8//28/2006: Sanjay from Leicester, UK writes, "i kept crushed garlic on the mole and covered it with a bandage and left it over night but it got worse, my skin was burnt by the garlic."
6/14/2006: A Edwards writes, "I tried the Garlic and Apple Cider Vinegar remedy. It did not work!! it left a big big scar down the side of my face and the mole did not disappear. i suggest you use petroleum jelly around the skin (vaseline) if you wanted to do this remedy."

IODINE
15 Yea
5/21/2007: Tim from Berkeley, California writes: "PAINTED IODINE MAKES A MOLE OR SKIN TAG FALL OFF: I had just been checked for skin cancer at my HMO and was told that the blemishes on my skin were non-cancerous, so hving read all of the positive results with iodine, I decided to try it for myself. I ordered Lugol's online and applied it to a "mole" (for lack of a more specific term) on my hand which had appeared a few years ago. I applied it once per day for about 3 weeks and it disappeared. After about 2 weeks the skin started to get a bit dry and flakey so after 3 weeks I stopped applying the iodine. About 1 week later the flakey skin flaked off to reveal the lack of any "mole". I am going to try this again on a few more of these "moles" on other parts of my body. Thanks!"
4/12/2007: Steve from Metairie, Louisiana writes: "I have had at least 10 moles removed by my dermatologist, and after they were burned off (they usually burn, or freeze them), It took about 2 weeks for the cuts to heal (depending on the depth of the cut). Then, once the skin was basically healed, a pink mark was left behind. After a while (usually a month or two), my color would return and blend in with the surrounding area. Some of the areas that my dermatologist cut left a hole in my skin, which has never filled in. So far, Iodine has removed moles from my skin, but never left any holes (depressions) in my skin."
4/13/2007: Donna (gem_of_blue[at]yahoo.com) from Dalton, GA writes: "I had been reading about Iodine and how it could get rid of different skin lesions, so I decided to give it a try on several Sebaceous Keratoses on my torso, several quite large. It has worked wonderfully. It took about 2 weeks for them to go away, and I applied it 2x a day most days. I put it on with a q-tip and let it dry before getting dressed. I sometimes scratched them lightly first with a emery nail file before applying the iodine. I use the Lugols, because I also take it by drops internally each day."
4/11/2007: Steve from Metairie, Louisiana writes: "Iodine worked to remove my moles. Make sure to gently scratch (softly) and then apply the iodine. I applied the iodine at least 3X's a day."
4/5/2007: Darren from Walhalla, SC writes: "Iodine helped get rid of moles but left pink spots how do I make the pink spots heal faster or blend in with the skin?"

3/13/2007: Shane Sunbury, Victoria, Australia writes: "Thank you everyone. Iodine worked brilliantly for removing my moles. The trick was to rub them with a pumice stone or scratch them with a needle before applying the iodine 2-3 times a day. Hey presto ! Mole gone in a week to 10 days. Once the moles turn hard you can stop applying the iodine. I also found apple cider vinegar worked as well, but must be careful not to over apply as it irritates the surrounding skin (only needed to apply this for 2-3 days to kill the mole. Thanks to this site for the information, I never thought it would be so easy."
2/26/2007: Diane Chesapeake, VA writes, "I use tincture of iodine (everyday) on skin ulcers which refuse to heal. Sometimes I apply iodine 2 to 3 times a day. I never miss a day when treating squamous cell carcinoma. The area being treated by the tincture of iodine often becomes very sensitive or itchy...don't discontinue the iodine...keep applying iodine on the ulcer. The itchy skin will scab up...it's just the healing process. Scrape off the skin if it again develops a white flaky patch or a brown scab...then, apply more iodine. Use the iodine for at least one to two months until the skin ulcer has completely disappeared. Then, use Retin-A cream to complete the skin rejuvenation process. Use Raw Organic Palm Fruit Oil along with the iodine to promote deep healing and also use Raw Organic Palm Fruit Oil along with sun block to prevent future skin damage. The ulcer patches have developed on my hands and lower arms. One skin damaged area shows my skin separating on crease lines on top of my wrist. The day after I applied the tincture of iodine to the separating skin, the crease lines showed signs of healing, as blood circulation appeared in the area. The areas I treat are all about the size of a quarter, which is larger than the freckle-sized spot. I figure the underlying skin damage takes in a larger area and it may only show up on the skin as a small freckle-sized spot. Last, everyone will ask you why you are using iodine on your skin...it's orange...it's sooo old fashioned. Don't let the embarrassment of orangey skin stop your self-treatment...it beats having a doctor remove the cancer and leaving you with holes where the carcinoma or melanoma used to be. I use this treatment on all skin problems, to include possible melanoma. In addition to the topical treatment, I plan to add a daily dose of Lugol's Iodine in my drinking water. I want to treat all cancers and other health problems from within. I have red hair and white skin with lots of freckles, and I am very sun sensitive. I have been terribly burned year after year while growing up in California. I am now 56 years old, and the skin cancer is just starting to appear. That's why I feel it necessary to add the Lugol's Iodine daily to my drinking water."

Teresa, from Lowell, North Carolina writes, "I had a raised mole to come up on my face and several skin tags to appear under my arm. I was embarrassed by the mole on my face, but didn't have the money to have it removed. Using a q-tip, I rubbed iodine on both the mole and skin tags at night before going to bed. Within 3 to 7 days the skin tag dried and fell off while the mole went away. I have shared this information with my sister who has removed several as well."

1/18/2006: Brenda, from Bear, DE writes, "Iodine is excellent for toenail fungus, ringworm, fever blisters, moles and skin tags, hangnails, etc. Just a few drops on a q-tip is all it takes. Use daily until the "boo-boo" is gone."

QUESTION:

8/22/2007: Renee (hinesfiftyseven/@/yahoo.com) from Somewhere, California writes: "Hi, I am trying the iodine mole removal with Iodine that I bought from Walgreens called Povidone Iodine. I was wondering if it matters what type of iodine I use? Thank you for this site, by the way."

EC: No, people don't usually use povidone, just regular iodine in the 1 Fluid Oz size bottle (tiny bottle).

COCONUT OIL

4/24/2006: Gail from Winston Salem, NC writes, "I have used extra virgin coconut oil topically and internally for seven months.  It is fantastic.  I applied it topically to a pre cancerous skin lesion on my forehead at the hairline and within three days the lesion was gone!  I wish I had known about the benefits of coconut oil six years ago when I underwent Mohs excision and plastic surgery on my nose for skin cancer.  I could have saved myself a lot of worry, not to mention pain and nine month of plastic surgery procedures to reconstruct my nose."

COLD SORE MEDICINE CLEARS UP CYST

9/27/2006: John from Terre Haute, IN writes, "For a cyst, I used cold sore medicine and it cleared right up. It was on the back of my ear and had been bothering me for years. Almost completely gone now after one night"

CASTOR OIL

10/27/2007: Mike from Chicago writes, "I've had mixed results with castor oil. Some moles would shrink in size instantly and others would take a few months. Some moles were not affected at all. I heard that mixing castor oil and baking soda would work well together, but it didn't help me at all."

DERMATEND MOLE REMOVAL PASTE

10/18/2007: Cheryl from Pensacola, Florida writes: "I used Dermatend paste on a large mole on the back of my neck.  It took several weeks because of the size, but it worked wonderfully.  I got the idea from my brother in-law who has used it repeatedly on several facial moles.  He has had no problems."
8/6/2007: Chandi from Fairbanks, Alaska writes: "Hey, I said I'd write back after I finished using the Dermatend paste on a mole on my arm, so here I am! I am mostly pleased with the results. The reason I say mostly is because I seem to have missed a tiny bit of the mole when I was applying the Dermatend, and am left with a tiny speck of mole, about the size of a pen-tip. But the part of the mole that did get covered is completely gone. I had applied a fresh bit of paste to the mole after every daily shower (because the medical tape got wet and uncomfortable, mostly) for a week. A white ring developed around the mole (the part that I had missed didn't get the ring). The surrounding skin was red and felt itchy, rather uncomfortable. At the end of the week, I left the bandage off while in the shower, and when the water hit it the scab that had formed in the center of the ring, it just fell off. I was left with a hole in the skin, not very deep, and it didn't hurt at all. After that, I applied NeoBiotic and a bandage, kept it changed every day for another week, and after that I stopped applying anything to it at all, not even a bandage. Now it's all healed up,the skin is smooth and there's only a pink mark, and the little speck of mole that I missed. I plan to use the paste again to get rid of the speck."
2/1/2007: Katherine from New Market, VA writes, "I tried the DermaTend Paste - I have many moles and I am very anti-doctor. I have been cursed with these moles since I was young. I read about Dermatend & decided to give it a try. Well I started on one (to get a feel for the length of time & what to expect) I began at the beginning of Jan 2007 and on Jan 31,2007 that first mole just fell off!No bleeding -- nothing- it just simply fell off-WOW!! It is Feb 1ST &I am starting on #2 mole.. I did experience a small about of discomfort on the last day.. before it fell off- so I opted to do one at a time (some of mine are quite large) I am VERY pleased with the results!! And by the way-- this morning the spot where that first mole was.. is barely noticeable.."

12/22/2006: Alice from Washington, MI writes, "My husband had a large mole on his back that has increased in size over the years. He's very anti-doctor. After some extensive research he decided to try the Dermatend paste. It has worked perfectly, just as described. Be prepared, it can be VERY painful, especially with a bigger lesion, but he is very satisfied with the results. I am an RN, and I am amazed by the results and complete and total removal of the mole. He now has a nice pink, granulated wound that I'm certain will heal quickly without infection. Had he had convential surgery, I'm certain he would have had a much larger wound with the probable need for a skin graft. We are very satisfied with the results."

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

3/31/2007: Glenn from Rohnert Park, CA writes: "A nevus is little black pigmented spot on the skin, sometimes called a beauty spot. Mine was flat, about 6-7 mm in diameter and near my neck and slightly elevated. It's been there for probably 20 years.
I dipped a q-tip in 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and applied it to the nevus only for a few seconds and then mopped the excess with the dry end of the q-tip. It burned a little, especially on later applications. I applied liquid vitamin A a few minutes afterwards to decrease the burning and promote healing. I did 3-4 applications over a period of a week. It fell off completely after a week and has not returned. My wife was very impressed. I'm not recommended this approach, but simply reporting my personal experiment. I've been experimenting with Bill Munro's inhaling approach for a little over a week. It appears to be working well. My energy has just about doubled and I'm breathing much better at night."

3 skin cancer growths on my face cured in a WEEK of applying Hydrogen Peroxide on them - HOW YOU APPLY could mean the difference between EFFECTIVE, or NOT (read further for detailed explanation). (NOTE: I use a lot of repetition, to make sure you understand exactly what I'm referring to.)

THANK GOD!! WOW! I'm still shocked it worked and it took only a WEEK!!! How is this possible that people don't know about this and a truth so simple is not known by everyone is beyond me.
My story and how I used Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to cure my skin cancers: Over the period of two years two cancerous growths appeared on my face (nose); one of them was growing very slow the other one faster. Then in less then a year another one appeared on my face as well - on the side of my nose very close to my eye. That one was growing at an alarming rate. All those growths hurt with unusual intensity when touched and had tiny veins but they were not moles. They were kind of the color of my skin except more red and at times really red. I applied just about every fruit on them I could think of with what seemed no effect. I was getting worried and felt helpless. I begged God to help me and I searched a lot. I found this great site and read that there have been reports that Hydrogen Peroxide cured melanoma. I was going to try the eggplant and white vinegar remedy, but was worried about the fumes from the vinegar being so close to my eye. So I decided to try the Hydrogen Peroxide first. At first it didn't seem to have any effect at all. I was getting so worried by that point because the spot close to my eye was growing even faster and by then it was about 5 millimeters in diameter and just few months ago it was a tiny spot. In my helplessness.
HOW I USED IT:
I took a cotton swab and soaked it in Hydrogen Peroxide and kept rubbing the cancerous growth with the Hydrogen Peroxide soaked cotton swab until the growth was soaked in the Hydrogen Peroxide and was white. It stung badly, but I didn't care, I just wanted these things gone. I was so desperate, my eyes watered every time I looked at the spots on my face. After the soaking of the growths I applied cotton soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide on them. NOTE: when soaking the skin with Hydrogen Peroxide make sure you don't do it to the healthy skin, because even though it is more resistant to getting white and soaked with the Hydrogen Peroxide, it will also get white after a while. If healthy tissue gets white like that, let it air out until it regains its normal color. So do the soaking to the unhealthy tissue only or as close as you can get. After soaking and making it white apply soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide cotton ball on the growth and when the cotton gets dry, wet it with more Hydrogen Peroxide. How it worked was: the soaked cancerous growth after a while formed as crust much like what happens with a normal sore. The strangest thing is I see no scars it flattened it out like it was never there..IN A WEEK!!! Even the fast growing one!! I'M STILL IN SHOCK. I tried SO many things. THANK GOD. THANK GOD!!!"
John writes again: "In my previous email to you, I forgot to mention:
1. I stopped drinking tap water and started drinking purified water when I was doing my Hydrogen Peroxide therapy.
2. I tried applying the Raspberry Skin Cream well known to cure skin cancer to the cancerous growths on my face for weeks, but it didn't work for me - I noticed no difference. I have heard the Raspberry Skin Cream worked well for many people after about two weeks.
3. Also I forgot to mention when I started my Hydrogen Peroxide I also started using air purifier that is running 24/7 in my bedroom. "

CASTOR OIL AND BAKING SODA

3/15/2007: Brad from Durham, NC writes: "Blood Root Paste did indeed remove a few moles from me. Each mole took a bout a week. It can be a bit uncomfortable and painful for a few days when it swells up. This method supposedly uses your own immune system. Those with auto immune systems may wish to consider this fact.
Since it became hard to find, I can also testify to Edgar C's baking soda and Castor oil method. (The Castor oil is Cold Pressed. Found in Health food Stores. Not the normal type found in Drug stores.) Scratching or pricking the mole, then applying a paste of the two ingredients, and covering with a bandage. The first mole I tried with this method was gone in 3 days ( takes a bout a week to heal after that.) I have 2 that are being treated right now. They are in the "blister" swollen stage on day 2. That can be a bit painful...but they should be gone in the next 2 days... This is suppose to work with warts as well. It did indeed get rid of a very, very small one on my penis.. it felt like a grain of salt under the skin... this took about 12 days... A much bigger wart on my toe that I have had for almost 10 years has not seen results yet, after 12 days... So it may be a stronger, older wart, or the method just might work better on Moles? Either way , it does seem to work on both."

READER QUESTION

11/30/2006: Anita from Farmington, Iowa writes, "I have long studied and use ACV, HP, and Coconut Oil, and have found that truly they are natural healers. As well, I believe the medical field has well deceived themselves and those who seek health care. After all,"cures" are bad for medical business, why would they be interested?Anyway, I have a questions/problems and cannot find answers. I have very small moles that are irritating and unsightly around the neck area. I do not know what causes them, nor do I know how to get rid of them in an affective manner. If someone has answers they will share ... I am deeply grateful! Also, what causes ganglion cysts? I have them on wrist, finger knuckles. How can one reduce them and keep them from starting? Love this sight! Thanks, Anita"

Ted replies, "Dear Anita: My philosophy for treatment has always been to ascertain the cause of any underlying condition. A simple mind numbing removal, for me is simply not a cure. So to pursue the cure for mole by finding the cause is not easy. But after some research, a mole and fungus are actually the same.
For some reason or another this line of research were never pursued. Babies get fungus infection and moles exist. Moles are frequently benign like a cancer, but they can get malignant and become cancer. Often it is a well known fact that people will get a fungus infection (moles are one of them) before they get cancer. Perhaps the most difficult organism to get rid of or kill is admittedly the fungus. They can live longer than your own life span, while bacteria and viruses grows and multiplies very quickly because they have a relatively short life span
Fungus are a strange organism. Sometimes they eat up your melanin causing white spots (tinea) and sometimes the produce melanin to protect themselves, which you call moles. Is there any basis in all these strange observation, without going into a long thesis? I will just quote one brief research (there are many more):
Melanin and fungi.

Gomez BL, Nosanchuk JD.
Dermatology Department, St. Johns Institute of Dermatology,
Guy's Hospital, Guy's, Kings, and St Thomas Medical School, London, UK.
PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Production of melanin has been associated with virulence in diverse microorganisms. Melanization of fungi has been noted for many years in predominantly subcutaneous infections such as chromoblastomycosis and more recently most extensively studied in a yeast causing systemic infection, Cryptococcus neoformans. Pigmented fungi are increasingly important human pathogens and currently available antifungals are often sub-optimal for serious infections. This review focuses on recent publications on melanin in fungi with particular reference to the role of melanin in virulence, protection against antifungal drugs, and promoting survival in the environment. RECENT FINDINGS: Inhibition of melanin production by C. neoformans can prolong survival of lethally infected mice. In contrast, melanin in C. neoformans and Histoplasma capsulatum yeast cells can bind amphotericin B and caspofungin, thereby reducing the fungicidal affects of these drugs. H. capsulatum and Paracoccidioides brasiliensis have only recently been shown to produce melanin in vitro and during infection. Additionally, melanin derived from melanized C. neoformans yeast and Aspergillus niger conidia can activate complement, which may modify immune responses to infection. Studies on C. neoformans laccase have revealed that the enzyme is located on the cell wall, which may allow for interactions with the host. Melanization reduces the susceptibility of C. neoformans to enzymatic degradation and toxicity from a heavy metal, which may afford protection to the fungus against similar insults in the environment. SUMMARY: Melanin has been referred to as 'fungal armor' due to the ability of the polymer to protect microorganisms against a broad range of toxic insults. Recent publications continue to reveal important contributions of melanin to survival of fungi in the environment and during infection.

Ted continues... " While this doesn't point moles being fungus, its behavior, life span and other does indicate that moles can be cured.
The cure is simply to remove the fungus or kill the fungus so that the condition can return or become a normal skin.
It would also imply that antibiotics may cause worsening of moles if you are just wondering and certain dietary preferences can potentially create more moles. In which case a removal of moles may not be helpful in the long run.
Once the cause are known or hypothesized, then we now know the treatment. Fungus have certain specific weakness, which are hydrogen peroxide, chromium chloride, copper chloride, borax, DMSO, MSM, garlic, lavender, germanium, rosemary, thyme, oregano, tea tree oil and other ester containing aromatic compounds to name a few. Certain toxic substances that are effective, I cannot mention here sorry.
Certain nutritional factors to prevent moles from "running in the family" appears to be preventable ever continuing this line.
Fungus and cancer are like siamese twins, they also run in the family unless someone cured himself nutritionally of cancer and then "suddenly" the cancer no longer runs in the family. So it appears to be at least to me a non-genetic factor, it merely passes by blood, and maybe not by genes.

In this case, mole cure is not on my priority list, but what I would likely pursue is hydrogen peroxide 3%, borax and vinegar solution. The other solution is a bit more better which is hydrogen peroxide 3%, borax and sodium carbonate solution. You won't kill it immediately, but it needs to be applied frequently enough and long enough and the moles should disappear. How frequent? I imagine 3-4 times a day and the solution stays about 5 minutes each time. The other is the chemical salts using chromium chloride 5% and copper solution 5% possibly adding boric acid of perhaps 10% to remove it, not immediately but over the course of a week should notice some improvement. Again this is a hypothetical experiment to test the fungus thesis as the cause of mole. Should I manage to find the answer, if I can afford a time to do it, I will posts the findings.
Also, what causes ganglion(sp?) cysts? I have them on wrist, finger knuckles.
Cysts are often caused by bacteria. Hydrogen peroxide 1% mixed with borax should help. The key is it must be applied frequent enough. Adding zinc chloride 1% to 2% will further the kill. The key to a good kill is applied every 15 minutes with at least 8 application may see some results. However, I often use lavender oil, tea tree oil, and eucalyptus oil in between the application to stop them so they won't bother me the next day. Again, I improvise depending on whether it itches, causes redness, etc. I wouldn't ignore tell tale signs and I often make changes according to those observations.
How can one reduce them and keep them from starting?
Alkaline diet, no bread, coke, and sweets. Those are acid forming and taking baking soda with ACV, or Lemon, or alone will help. Just see the alkaline page at earthclinic. Cleaning in non sensitive areas using borax and hydrogen peroxide solution 1% is one simple way. But there are many more ways I can try also.
Hope this helps. Further updating if i have any new leads to finding a way to remove the cause. Currently most popular is surgical removal or freeze removal, I just prefer to do it naturally then the cut or burn it off method. Ted "

Ted writes us again adding: "Certain kinds of moles may likely be a fungus cause, the reason why it is not part of the genetic makeup is I have known mole that covered a very large part on my myself that completely disappeared shortly after I was born. The only possible explanation is a fungus. Certain other moles I don't know and it is not possible to prove them all as to their origins. But this kind that I am referring to is treatable. Also cleaning using H2O2 at the time was also used could be one possible reason for its disappearance.
If you read other places, they don't even give you the slightest clue on the cause, therefore this is only an attempt on my part on some possible cause based on my own personal experience. Ted"
