Dermatend Mole Remover: Questions About Application

Questions To DermaTend

Hi Dermatend,

I have recently purchased Dermatend mole remover. I have moles on my face that I am wishing to remove. My question is, am I still able to wash my face with my cleanser or am I better off not using it during the removal treatment; and also, will water effect the treatment.

Thankyou,
Nicky

Hi Nicky. I am glad you wrote before you started treatment. Here is the best advice I can give you about DermaTend. It is best not to mix harsh cleansers with Dermatend. Sometimes adverse reactions can occur. As for using this product for removing moles I have to tell you the product works wonders if you use it correctly; it works okay if you "sort of apply it right", and if you apply it without any pretreating, the product actually still works, however it takes a lot longer. That said, I know your moles will come off with this stuff.

How long does it take? Sometimes the mole will scab overnight, some require two or three treatments. Each mole tissue is different, even the ones you have may react at different rates. Please try to follow these directions as closely as possible. By the way, try to avoid treating the area with a cleanser around the area being treated. If you do wet it, in the shower, etc, dry and reapply.

Ok, here is what to do. Wash the mole with hot water and soap, and then rub it with a pumice stone for about a minute. Then wash again, and use Hydrogen Peroxide to finally clean the area. Apply the Dermatend paste to the mole, and cover with a cloth bandage. The mole should scab overnight, if not, rub again, wash. reapply. Once it scabs, leave it uncovered until the scabs naturally falls off.

If the moles turns dark, thats good. A little red aura around the mole area is okay, if it is sore, use the Neobiotic on top of the red area. The idea is to let the mole turn black, dry up and fall off.

If there are any other problems, feel free to write again. By the way, please take before and after photos for us and send them to this address. I would really appreciate it.

Dermatend is no to be used to treat cancerous moles. Please seek professional advice before using Dermatend.

      Hi Bart,

It is very simple to treat your moles, skin tags and warts with Dermatend.

There are just a few steps involved. Once you have received your Dermatend kit you will find in the Dermatend kit all you will need for the application of Dermatend.

First clean the area you are treating with Dermatend.
Next scratch the area with the ex foliating tool for about 30-60 seconds, then clean the area again. Finally you will apply the Dermantend to the area you are treating and cover with a bandage.

You will repeat the dermatend step daily until a scab has formed. Once a scab has formed stop applying the Dermatend and simply wait until it falls off. Thats it. Your done with your Dermatend treatment.

Hi, i have been thinking about buying dermatend for 3 months now, and i need to know a few questions. i never really cared about my moles until i got more from going to tanning booths... i took 2 8 minute tans and it gave me 15 new moles i was so mad lol. but i got 1 small 1 that is on my nose and i really hate it im not sure if its a flat mole or a freckle, but will dermatend take away freckles too? and i got 1 little flat mole kind of on the bag of my eye would that be dangerous to use it on because moles have roots that grow deep into the skin? and i have 1 more question, i have 1 that doesnt really look like a mole some people call it a 3rd nipple or w/e but its a small size. what is it, and would dermatend work on that to? thanks thats all...

    ANSWER FROM EDITOR:
YES, DERMATEND WILL REMOVE FRECKLES, FLAT MOLES, OR ANY ABNORMAL SKIN LESION.

can anyone tell me is dermatend safe to use while pregnant?

Nothing is totally safe to use during the first trimester of your pregnancy. You can use Dermatend after that to remove moles on external locations.

I am reading about your product and sounds like a better solution than surgery. Your order section says it removes 2 to 4 moles. In my case I have 75 to 100 small moles on my chest. Would a smaller amount be used on each? What do you recommend without spending a fortune?

Each large size dermatend can remove a dozen moles if used correctly. There is also a special offer now with two large kits.

Man I can totally relate. I found Dermatend on the internet while searching information about moles.

I called the Dermatend offices and got a lot of helpful advice about removing a bunch of moles like over thirty. They said to only treat one or two at a time. They of course wanted to sell their Dermatend mole remover to me but by no means did I feel pressured to. Actually when I said no to buying the Dermantend product and that I want to think about it, the girl was so nice and asked me to call her back if I had any more questions regarding Dermatend.

I think it is very important to be able to reach a company on the phone or email within a responable time to get answers and that was my experience with the Dermatend Company.

I did eventually buy the Dermatend double kit which is a lot of product for a decent price since I had so many moles.

I have successfully removed 18 of my 32 moles with Dermatend and am still removing them. Dermatend works great.

    Dear Dermatend,
I cannot tell if I have a scab because I'm using it on a flat mole. I applied the treatment (rubbed with the nailfiler included, then added Dermatend) two days in a row...My arm burns where I have the mole--it was drier/rougher the second day, so I thought a scab had formed and I put on neobiotic, but then everything was soft the the third day (but still burning, red around it). Could you help me figure out whether I have a scab or it's just the mole? Is it supposed to be this painful? Please help me figure out what I did wrong?
    Thank you!!!

Usually the bandaid causes this irratation. We recommend that you  use the Neobiotic until the area heals and try again. Make sure you use a fabric bandage. Also try using a pumise stone to prepare the mole prior to applying dermatend

    Hi Dermatend
i have been using dermatend for a few days on a mole under my chin, about the width of an pencil eraser. It finally scabbed over, after giving it a really good scratching. It was completely scabbed over, but days later when it fell off, it was not completely gone. The "foundation" of the mole was still there. Any thoughts on this?? It was definitely scratched, and covered well.

Sometimes the patent does not prepare the mole correctly, other times the mole tissue is just stubborn. Begin the process once again, and your mole should dissappear completely. If you have any problems contact info@dermatend.com

    Hi
May i know whether will we have a scar after using this product to remove our moles ????

You will get a scar from laser and scalpel surgery, but Dermatend's natural formula removes the mole without harming surrounding tissue so you are less likely to scar with this treatment, that with other methods.

Hi, i was wondering if you can still wear make up once a scab has formed?

    FROM DERMATEND:

You can, but its best to treat your moles, and once they are gone and healed before you continue your makeup.

I recently purchased Dermatend, and i have a question...When a Scab does form on the mole do i continue to apply dermatend everyday until mole falls off?

    Answer:
Once the scab forms, DO NOT TOUCH OR REAPPLY. Let the Dermatend work its magic. After the mole, wart or skin tag falls off, then apply Neobiotic - natural antibiotic to the area to speed healing.
